Every Hungarian bank account has an IBAN, an alphanumeric code that enables your bank or foreign exchange provider to make a payment to Hungary. IBANs in Hungary are 28 characters long, consisting of an ISO Country Code, two IBAN check digits and a Basic Bank Account Number (BBAN).
