Can I send money to all banks in Poland through my Moneycorp account?
With Moneycorp, you can make payments to most of Poland’s major banks, including but not limited to:
- Citi Handlowy
- Bank Millennium
- Bank Pekao
- PKO BP
- Mazowiecki Bank Regionalny
- Deutsche Bank Poland
If your bank is not included on this list, it doesn't necessarily mean that we'd be unable to make the payment for you. Contact one of our specialists to find out more.
Do I need to be wary of anything when sending money to Poland?
The most important factor that you’ll need to bear in mind is the exchange rate that is used for your international payments. Banks often charge up to 3-4% more than currency specialists. This means that using a bank, as opposed to Moneycorp, to transfer your money to Poland incurs far greater costs. You should also be wary of exchange rates that you see quoted online. The live rates displayed on sites like DailyFX and XE are interbank rates, as opposed to rates that are available to everyday consumers; as such, they can give individuals who wish to make international transfers false expectations.
